Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Power
BI / Microsoft Fabric Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise analytics solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power
BI, and AWS Redshift as the primary enterprise data platform. The role will focus on building scalable semantic models and enterprise reporting solutions using Direct Connect / Direct Query connectivity patterns to AWS Redshift while enabling governed, high‑performance self‑service analytics across the organization.
- Enterprise Analytics Architecture: design and implement enterprise reporting and analytics solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power
BI, AWSRedshift, and One Lake. - Define enterprise semantic layer strategies that provide consistent KPIs, metrics, hierarchies, and business definitions.
- Establish standards, best practices for enterprise reporting, semantic modeling, governance, and performance optimization.
- Lead BI modernization initiatives, transitioning legacy reporting platforms to Power
BI and Microsoft Fabric. - Design and optimize AWSRedshift connectivity architecture for Direct Query / Direct Connect reporting, including schema design, sort keys, distribution styles, and materialized views.
- Implement hybrid architectures using Direct Query, Import, Composite Models, and Direct Lake to balance query performance, concurrency, scalability, cost, and user experience.
- Design and maintain enterprise semantic models supporting large‑scale analytics: dimensional models, star schemas, reusable reporting structures, governed datasets, KPIs, and calculations using DAX.
- Implement security and governance controls such as Row‑Level Security, Object‑Level Security, and other data governance measures.
- Lead Microsoft Fabric and Power
BI development: implement Lakehouse Warehouse, Dataflows, Gen2, One Lake, real‑time analytics, high‑performance dashboards, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise BI architecture, semantic modeling, and cloud data platforms.
