Summary of ResponsibilitiesAs a Developer in the Transmission and Distribution Products group, you will focus on the Construction & Design product, working on software and technology enhancements related to cost, schedule, portfolio, and equipment management. You will collaborate with users to deliver high-value product increments.
Responsibilities- Develop application interfaces, reports, and vendor applications.
- Analyze, design, configure, develop, test, troubleshoot, and implement changes to applications.
- Understand business processes related to supported applications.
- Create technical designs to meet business needs.
- Leverage appropriate technology for requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans, document products, and resolve application issues.
- Learn electric utility transmission processes.
- Become proficient with supported software and tools.
- Manage source code, participate in team collaboration, and support flexible work hours.
- Interact with stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve issues.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related; or equivalent experience.
- Skills in Microsoft .NET, Java, Shell Scripting, Python, etc.
- Experience with Oracle databases, SQL queries, stored procedures.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn new systems and adapt to changing technology.
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Motivated, independent, and capable of working remotely.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- Experience with Oracle OPPM, Unifier, P6, PIF.
- API, REST web services, and integration experience.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and Oracle Web Logic.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops and agile methodologies.
