Information Security Analyst

We are currently hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst for our company in Akron. As an Information Security Analyst you will be responsible for protecting the organization's computer systems and networks from cyber threats and attacks. Your main goal will be to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our information assets.

• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures and controls to safeguard information assets.
• Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity or unauthorized access.
• Investigate security breaches and incidents, document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats and technologies to keep the organization's defenses up-to-date.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization's infrastructure.
• Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS) and other security technologies.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to respond quickly in high‑pressure situations.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Salary: $900 per month
