Computer Support Specialist - Akron, OH

We are in need of a dedicated and experienced Computer Support Specialist to join our team in Akron OH. As a Computer Support Specialist you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our clients. Your main goal will be to ensure that all computer systems and networks are running smoothly and efficiently.

• Provide technical support to clients via phone, email or in person
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues
• Install and configure computer systems and applications
• Maintain accurate records of all support calls and resolutions
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical problems
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements

• Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of various operating systems, hardware components and software applications
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position.

Location:

This position is based in Akron OH. Applicants must be currently living in or willing to relocate to Akron.

A degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required.

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are highly desirable.
