Junior Information Security Analyst

We are hiring a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Akron. As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and data. This is a full-time position with salary starting at $1800 per month.

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on our systems
• Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security threats
• Investigate and respond to security incidents
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures
• Stay updated on the latest security threats and industry best practices

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys
• Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and compliance standards (e.g. PCI DSS)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CompTIA Security+
• Previous experience in information security or IT audit
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Power Shell)
