We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing team in Akron. As a QA Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. This position is open to applicants from the Philippines who are looking for an opportunity to showcase their skills and grow their career in the tech industry.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts to ensure software quality
- Identify and report defects and track them through resolution
- Collaborate with developers to understand product requirements and troubleshoot issues
- Conduct automated testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks
- Continuously improve testing processes by identifying areas for optimization
- Communicate project status issues and risks to project stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends best practices and new technologies related to software testing
- Filipino nationality with English communication skills written and verbal
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Experience with manual testing automated testing tools eg Selenium defect tracking systems eg JIRA and version control systems eg Git
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle SDLC and agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with performance testing tools eg JMeter
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
- Experience working in an e-commerce or retail industry
Salary Starting salary of $1200 per month with potential for growth based on performance
