Database Administrator Entry Level

Location Akron Ohio USAKey Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as backups, updates and data purging to ensure data integrity and database performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
• Monitor database activity and performance to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other IT teams to implement new databases or make changes to existing ones
• Develop and maintain database security protocols to protect sensitive data
• Create and maintain documentation of database structures, processes and procedures for future reference
• Assist with the installation and configuration of new databases as needed

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS)
• Knowledge of SQL queries and scripting languages
• Familiarity with data backup and recovery procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal

Salary $1100 per month

• Full-time position with regular working hours Monday-Friday
