Position:
Video Sign Language Interpreter
As part of our dynamic team, you will provide exceptional American Sign Language interpreting services via video in a call center setting. Under the guidance of the Communication Center Manager, you’ll leverage your fluent ASL and spoken English skills to ensure effective communication for our clients. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of interpreting, adhering to the NAD‑RID Code of Professional Conduct.
We are looking for Video Sign Language Interpreters to work a flexible schedule averaging 12 hours a week over a 6‑week period, with the following benefits:

- Provide effective video relay service and video remote interpreting for our consumers.

- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and all FCC regulations.

- Work independently to meet performance expectations in a fast‑paced environment.
- Showcase strong interpersonal skills in various settings.
- Onsite interpreting may be available based on business needs; must have a valid driver's license and insurance if driving is required.
- Fluency in ASL and spoken English.
- Capability to provide accurate interpretations.
- Strong understanding of Deaf culture.
- Thorough knowledge of the NAD‑RID Code of Professional Conduct.
- 3 to 5 years of interpreting experience is preferred (but not required).
- State licensure or required credentials, if applicable.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
