This role is responsible for processing purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, tracking deliveries, and partnering with internal teams to ensure materials and services are delivered on time.

• Process purchase orders, updates, receipts, and other purchasing transactions accurately and timely.
• Monitor open purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier documentation.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, shipping updates, and required documentation.
• Assist in expediting material deliveries to support project schedules and customer commitments.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation and assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Track open orders, delivery commitments, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Project Management, Accounting, Transportation, and suppliers to support business operations.
• Support inventory, requisition, and material tracking activities.
• Identify and communicate potential supply, delivery, or documentation issues.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments

Preferred

• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Accounting, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics, inventory control, administrative support, customer service, or a related business environment
• Experience using ERP, purchasing, inventory, or business management systems
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Internship, co-op, or coursework related to procurement or supply chain management
