Job Summary

Location: 2280 Picton Parkway, Akron, OH 44312.

Schedule: Full time. Sunday through Wednesday, 6:00 pm – 4:30 am;
Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Pay Range: $16.00 – $16.50 per hour.

Requirement: One year of janitorial experience preferred.

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and return furniture to correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces following the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refine floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
