$16–16.50/hr. depending on experience

Monday‑Friday, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm, 2nd Shift

• Work in a team‑oriented and safety‑conscious environment. Follow the PJHA process, Observation process, and all company/site safety guidelines and procedures.
• Perform housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain offices, restrooms, and public areas in clean and orderly condition.
• Remove trash from offices and other work areas.
• Strip, wax, burnish, and clean floors; scrub ceramic tile floors; clean and maintain carpeted floors.
• Assist other service personnel with minor facility service repairs.
• Use hand tools and cleaning machinery daily such as floor sweepers and brooms.
• Work all shifts, including holidays and weekends, as demanded by the job.
• Comply with all company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals, including employee development planning.
• Communicate with team members to assist in developing short‑ and long‑range planning to assist the company’s goals and objectives.
• Maintain personal tools required for the job.
• Meet the physical requirements of the job.
• Maintain good attendance in accordance with company policy.
• Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
• Accurate and timely administrative duties including time accounting and work order completion.
• Maintain positive customer and employee relations.

• Two years’ experience in Janitorial / Custodial applications desirable.

• Observation of details at close range.
• Control precision – ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust controls of a machine or vehicle to exact positions.
• Manual dexterity – ability to quickly grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
• Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required.
• Ability to move for extended or continuous periods of time.
• Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools.
• Ability to operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles in a safe manner.
• Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties.
• Communication/expression – ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Information ordering – ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern.

Employees are frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
