Housekeeper (Maintenance)
Essential FunctionsResponsible for the direct cleaning of the Lake Anna YMCA, such as cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, trash removal, window cleaning, picking up trash and spills, and floor cleaning and maintenance throughout the building on a daily basis. Follows the cleaning checklist for all areas of the building. Responsible for communicating and submitting to the supervisor the inventory and supplies needed to maintain the building.
Organizes, cleans, and maintains the storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment. Maintains a clean and positive image along with YMCA attire/uniform. Maintains communication with all staff via in person and/or through work orders that are developed. Interacts with staff and members in a positive manner and creates a team atmosphere. Develops an understanding and commitment to the Annual Campaign.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Properties Manager and/or Executive Director.
