Janitor, Maintenance​/Cleaning, Commercial Cleaning

Barberton Mancan is assisting a company in Barberton in need of a part time Janitor.

Shift is Mon-Fri
Schedule is flexible with start time between 6a-10a. 4 hrs worked daily.
Pay is $17.25/hr.
This is a long term, temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate!

Will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility by performing routine cleaning and sanitation duties throughout both the office and production areas. Ensure all work areas meet company cleanliness and safety standards while supporting a productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in both office and manufacturing areas.
Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, windows, doors, and fixtures.
Restock restroom and break room supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Maintain cleanliness of production floors by removing debris, dust, and non-hazardous waste while following safety procedures.
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, and mops.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management.
Follow all company safety policies, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with special cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending, standing, walking, and reaching throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
Reliable attendance and a dependable work ethic.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment around production equipment and machinery.

Must pass a preemployment background check and drug screen.
