The clinical supervisor is a management level position that work s in cooperation with the Clinical Direc tor and is responsible for the Supervision of up to six (6) therapists and/or CPST Providers . The clinical s upervisor is also required to provide clinical services to clients .
This position requires abo ut six (6) hours per week. The clinical s upervisor will work in their assigned full or part - time c linical and /or administrative position. They are also responsible for the following:
Provide direct supervision (individual and/or group) to supervises per the State of Ohio Counselor and Social Worker Board guidelines.
Review clinical documentation ( i.e . diagnostic assessments, individual service plans, progress notes etc.) for accuracy, timeliness and content.
Provide case consultation and feedback regarding clinical interventions and other issues raised to supervises.
Promote the professional growth and development of supervises.
Work in collaboration, from a holistic and strength-based approach, with supervises.
Ensure compliance of agency policy and procedures.
Ensure compliance with state regulations, guidelines and code of conduct.
Attend and participate in bi-weekly supervisor’s meeting and clinical staff meetings.
Report dire ctly to the Clinical Director for supervisory support.
The c l inical s upervisor is knowledgeable about all agency policies and procedures and adhere s to such procedures. The clinical s upervisor is in good standing with their current case loads and job responsibilities including the accuracy and timeliness of submitti ng clinical documentation. The clinical s upervisor will maintain good standing with the State of Ohio Counseling and Social Worker Board .
The clinical s upervisor will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, time management and conflic t resolution skills. The clinical s upervisor will use group and/or individual supervision to review cases and concerns of their supervises. This will also be the platform where supervises receive instructions/recommendations and information regarding the general operation of MBHG .
Essential Functions and Duties:
Supervise the activities of the therapists or CTs and CPST Providers in assigned supervisory group . Supervision includes the reviewing of Diagnostic Assessments, Individual Service Plans, SALs and Progress Notes for accuracy, content, and
