Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager with buy in opportunity, located in Northeast Ohio/Western Pa. WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT MOTIVATED CANDIDATE!! The General Manager will oversee daily dealership operations, including Sales, Service, Parts, and Accounting Departments. Responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, achieving sales targets, overseeing financial performance, and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills.
The role also involves developing and maintaining relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturers. You must be willing to get involved and actively to 40 contacts a day through email, calls, and/or texts. You must set the example through your actions. If you are not willing to be actively involved, or do not have the skill set to be able to pull in and close deals yourself this is not the job for you.
Qualifications
- Experience in dealership operations management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and financial reporting
- Proficiency in using dealership management software and other relevant technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with corporate office and other dealership locations
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred
- 5+ years of previous experience in the automotive industry is a requirement
