Managing Director of Tax Services

The Managing Director of Tax Services is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing client-focused tax planning, compliance, and advisory services across a diverse portfolio of clients. The Managing Director will lead our tax team to deliver exceptional client service, ensure regulatory compliance, and add to the overall growth of our firm. • Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local returns for individuals, gift, trusts, partnerships, and S-corporation taxation.
• Lead tax planning and consulting engagements to help clients minimize liabilities and achieve financial goals. Serve as the primary point of contact for tax related matters.
• Supervise and mentor tax staff and managers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate implications to clients and internal team.
• Collaborate with our financial planning and investment management team to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Support business development efforts for the firm.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• CPA license
• 10+ years of experience working in a CPA firm or financial services firm.
• The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working with Thomson Reuters-Ultra Tax and Practice CS is a plus.
