The Dispatch Supervisor position serves as a working supervisor. In addition to performing the full range of functions assigned to Dispatchers – including communications, call taking, and dispatching functions. The Dispatch Supervisor also directs and supervises subordinate staff. This includes assigning and delegating work projects, scheduling employees to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained, performance management including work performance evaluation, coaching, mentoring and/or implementing corrective actions for performance and/or conduct issues.
