About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex systems, and a proactive approach to ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in minimizing downtime, supporting production teams, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
  • Assist with the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Manage and track inventory of parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
  • Support continuous improvement projects focused on equipment performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required, technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, PLCs, and industrial controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.
  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts as required.
  • Experience working with tablet press and encapsulation equipment is strongly preferred.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Advanced knowledge of PLC programming and automated systems.
  • Experience in GMP-regulated or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
