Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) - Akron, Ohio - JOB 26-00121
Pay Range: $25.00 - $32.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits.
3rd shift: 11pm-7am
Akron Area Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician's key responsibility will be to maintain & repair the facility & production equipment. Troubleshooting and repair of machine controllers. Troubleshooting molding machine auxiliary equipment issues. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred OR 5 years' experience in Industrial Maintenance
- Experience with blow molding equipment desired but not required
- Must be proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical drawings
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and machine manuals
- Must have good math skills
- Process knowledge of PLC's
- Must have experience/knowledge with methods, practices, tools and materials used in the general maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and machinery.
- Must have working knowledge of plastic molding machine operations.
- Able to operate common types of machine shop equipment
- Must have good mechanical aptitude
- Must have good communication skills (written & verbal)
- Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
- Must be able to climb ladders, equipment and steep stairs
- Must be able at times to work outdoors in a variety of temperatures
