One of our manufacturing clients in Akron, OH location is hiring for CNC Machinist for their facility.
Shift: 1st and 2nd shift
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines to machine parts to specification
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operations
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances
- Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, height gauges, etc.)
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and perform minor machine maintenance as needed
- Edit or adjust CNC programs at the machine when required
- Maintain production records and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining issues
- 3–5 years of experience as a Machine Operator
, preferably in a CNC manufacturing environment - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand GD&T
- Basic knowledge of G-code and CNC programming concepts
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
