CNC Machinist - Akron, OH
Pay Rate: $25/hr - $30/hr
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC machines including mills and lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
- Monitor production runs to ensure accuracy and quality
- Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections
- Maintain machines and perform basic preventive maintenance
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and production timelines
- 2–4 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of machine setup and operation
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
- Basic knowledge of G-code and CNC programming
- Experience with multi-axis CNC machines
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices
