Material Handler

We are a growing company seeking hard‑working, dependable individuals to join Grimco, a national wholesale sign supply manufacturer and distributor that has been around for over 150 years with 50+ locations in the United States. Warehouse Associates are critical members of our team, ensuring that warehouse procedures are carried out smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Full‑time employment status. This position requires an 8‑hour workday, Monday – Friday (day shift). Additional hours and/or days may be required based on demand. Hours are not flexible – the schedule is set.

• Provide service to coil processing machines.
• Supply machines with aluminum coils in accordance with the production schedule.
• Locate and store coils at machines for the next process.
• Load coils on coil carts for operators to place on payoff arbors.
• Use forklift to lift up to 10,000 lb items.
• Take finished material to the next process.
• Assist operators/assistants.
• Use tip overs to put coils eye to the sky when necessary.
• Store stock‑tagged material in the correct location.
• Pre‑operational inspection of lift trucks.
• Assist operators/assistants with scrap and transporting to the proper area.
• Keep work areas as neat and clean as possible.
• Observe all safety rules and signage.

• Recent warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
• Recent forklift experience required.
• Knowledge of WMS, printing ticket orders, MS Office Suite, email, internet navigation.
• Be willing to complete a criminal background check.
• Ability to take and pass pre‑employment drug screen test.
• Strong work ethic – dedicated to getting the job done.
• Interest in growing with Grimco – potential overtime hours, and supervisory duties in the future.
• Reliable transportation to and from work is a must.

• Requires the ability to lift, push, pull and carry tools and warehouse materials weighing 50+ pounds on a frequent basis.
• Requires prolonged standing or walking and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching daily.
• Requires the ability to climb ladders to pick or put away products.
• Requires a full range of physical motion to operate manual and electrically powered tools and machines (i.e., forklift).
