Material Handler
This role is critical to keeping our operations running smoothly by ensuring the right materials are available at the right time. As the Materials Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting production by managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and analyzing demand to prevent disruptions.
Responsibilities- Monitor raw material inventory and align supply with production schedules to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Place and manage purchase orders, ensuring materials arrive on time and meet quality expectations.
- Partner with suppliers to address delays, shortages, or performance concerns.
- Analyze data and forecasts to anticipate material needs and adjust plans accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with operations, manufacturing, and warehouse teams to support production goals.
- Identify and communicate potential supply risks and recommend solutions.
- Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems to ensure reliable planning and reporting.
This position primarily works standard business hours, with flexibility needed to respond to changing production or supply chain demands.
Qualifications- High school diploma required; additional education in supply chain, business, or operations is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in material planning, supply chain, or a related role.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) and experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
