We are currently looking for a qualified candidate for a manufacturing company in Akron, OH. This role is perfect for someone with forklift experience and a desire to work in a dynamic production environment. You will process latex compounds, assist with raw material handling, and support shipping and cleaning duties, all while working on-site in Akron. Monday - Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm or 8:00am – 4:30pm (depending on customer demand). Possible overtime, no nights, no weekends, no holidays.

$20.00 per hour

• Process latex compounds and dispersions by following written recipes
• Weigh raw ingredients using automated or manual scales as per formulas
• Monitor mixing tanks, mills, mixers, pumps, and kettles
• Move completed batches via pump or gravity drop
• Assist with raw material handling
• Collect samples for lab analysis
• Clean equipment and process waste water
• Load and unload trucks, verify shipment contents, and record shipment data
• Pack, seal, label, and prepare materials for shipping
• Perform janitorial and groundskeeping duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 1+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Forklift experience preferred
• Good math and reading skills
• Safety and quality conscious
• High attention to detail
• Ability to stand for 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently
• Willing to be cross‑trained

• Experience operating a forklift
• Compounding or industrial mixing experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing work experience
