Entry-Level Machinist & General Labor Opportunities
Location: Akron, OH (Firestone Park Area)
Pay: $16-$19/hr (Based on Experience)
Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift Available
Hire Sync is currently hiring Entry-Level Machinists and General Laborers for a growing manufacturing operation located in the Firestone Park area of Akron. These positions offer hands‑on training, long‑term career growth, and the opportunity to build valuable manufacturing skills with a company that promotes from within.

Entry-Level Machinist Responsibilities:- Operate and learn basic production machinery used to cut thin steel panels
- Stack finished materials onto custom-built pallets for shipment
- Perform quality checks and measurements
- Follow production schedules and safety procedures
- Learn machine operation and manufacturing processes through on-the-job training
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Desire to grow and advance within the company
- Move materials throughout the facility
- Build custom skids and crates used for shipping finished products
- Operate a basic saw to cut pre-measured wood components
- Use hand and air-powered tools, including nail guns
- Transport materials using pallet jacks
- Assist with shipping preparation and facility operations
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs throughout the shift
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and retain training
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Desire to learn new skills and grow with the company
