$40.86/hr (after probationary period & full qualification)

Responsibilities- Understand and model Company’s Basic Beliefs and Our Commitment to Each Other
- Use team scorecard and other Operational Excellence documents to identify and track team gaps
- Plan, execute, and track activities to eliminate gaps and develop team capabilities
- Provide feedback regularly to team members on performance
- Hold team accountable for results
- Provide backup/coverage support for team members
- Operate, clean and maintain all equipment in the production area
- Perform all CIL activities in the production area
- Handle minor stops, quality issues, breakdowns and routine maintenance activities safely and reliably
- Train as a First Responder for plant and use training as needed
- Attend production and maintenance scheduling meetings, provide input and function as point of contact for schedule deviations
- Work outside scheduled hours as needed for shift overlap, maintenance, etc.
- Meet all essential functions associated with pay level
- Flow to the work as necessary to meet department and plant needs
- Function within all Operational Excellence principles
- Qualify on all necessary step-up cards – Full operational, basic maintenance, routine maintenance, leadership
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Preferred:
Previous work experience in a food manufacturing or industrial environment - Good attendance record and compliance with attendance policy
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work on an 8-hour shift on a 7-day schedule per week
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and performing all sanitation duties
- Ability to operate, perform basic and routine maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment
- Physical ability to climb, stand, bend, twist, and move around stairs, ladders, platforms and equipment
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently
- Self-directed, capable of working in a team to solve problems and implement solutions
- Strong reading, comprehension, interpretation, recording and application of information from documents (e.g., equipment manuals, SOPs, policies)
- Qualified candidates to pass an applied math and technical aptitude test
