Now in its third generation of family management, Regency also includes in‑house creative design teams, installers, a custom furniture shop, and a national sales network.
Regency is seeking an experienced Woodshop Supervisor with CNC experience to oversee daily shop operations, supervise production staff, and ensure high‑quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate has strong woodworking knowledge, hands‑on CNC machine experience, leadership skills, and the ability to manage production schedules in a fast‑paced environment.
Included Responsibilities- Supervise daily operations of the woodshop, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Lead, train, and support shop employees on woodworking equipment, CNC machinery, and production processes.
- Program, set up, and operate CNC routers and related equipment for custom wood products and production runs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, CAD files, and work orders accurately.
- Monitor production quality and ensure finished products meet company standards and customer specifications.
- Coordinate workflow, assign tasks, and manage production priorities to meet deadlines.
- Perform machine setup, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance on CNC and woodworking equipment.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Track inventory of materials, tools, and supplies and communicate ordering needs.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and operations teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Train and manage team members on proper machine operation, safety procedures, and best practices for production, assembly, and packaging.
- Reduce waste and improve efficiency through continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship before shipment or installation.
- Maintain production records, machine logs, and scheduling updates as needed.
- 3+ years of woodworking or cabinet shop experience.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Hands‑on CNC programming and operation experience required.
- Ability to use woodworking tools, saws, routers, sanders, and finishing equipment.
- Familiarity with Carve Co/CAD/CAM software preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
