The City of Akron seeks a Wastewater Plant Operator to operate and maintain equipment at the wastewater treatment plant and sewer system. You will read gauges, monitor SCADA, sample for tests, and perform minor repairs while maintaining logs and coordinating with supervision.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience, or an associate degree in a related field;
Class I certificate required within two years of employment.
