Chemical Mixing Operator

A manufacturing company in Akron, OH is seeking a dedicated Chemical Mixing Operator to join our first-shift team. This role is hands-on and requires a candidate who is comfortable working in a physically demanding, dirty environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Henschel mixers and related equipment.
• Weigh, measure, and blend chemicals according to specifications.
• Utilize tow motor/forklift to transport materials as needed.
• Monitor mixing process to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and production runs.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.

Qualifications:

• Prior machining experience required; mixing experience in rubber, food, or powdered chemical industries highly preferred.
• Strong math skills and ability to follow precise measurements.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a dirty environment.
• Must own and wear steel toe boots.
• Tow motor/forklift experience a plus.
