There is an injection molding company near the Akron, OH region that is in need of a skilled Process Technician to support their increasing manufacturing demands.

The Process Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the injection molding manufacturing process and completion of projects.

• Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform mold changes, machine startups, and shutdowns in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimize processes and improve product quality.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document production data, process changes, and equipment maintenance activities.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in plastics processing is a plus.
• Understanding of mold construction and a minimum of 2 years of hands-on injection molding manufacturing experience is required. Experience operating a forklift is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United states and valid drivers license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long durations of time, and perform other physical tasks as required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime if needed.
