We are currently hiring an Entry Level Turner to join our team in Akron, USA. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of turning machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate or someone with limited experience in the field of turning to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills.

Key responsibilities:

Set up and operate turning machines such as lathes, grinders, and mills
Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine settings and production methods
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality standards are met
Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to inspect finished parts
Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance tasks when necessary
Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent qualification in machining or related field
Basic understanding of turning principles and techniques
Familiarity with operating CNC machines is a plus
Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools accurately
Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
Good problem-solving skills
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Willingness to learn new skills
