Availability to work 2nd shift is required

Hours:

Monday – Thursday 2:30pm – 1:00am. 2 week training will be on day shift hours Monday – Friday 6:30am – 2:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete mixing or testing of rubber compounds in a timely manner with attention to detail and quality.
• Learn test methods, test equipment, test samples.
• Perform equipment/machine or reactor setup using a test request, specification, batch sheet or other input form.
• Verify & validate that the machine, test, sample are proper prior to initiating a test or experiment.
• Receiving and Checking in tires received from the warehouse as well as direct ships from the plants.
• Perform daily or weekly machine verification and safety checks.
• Operate manual, semi-automatic & automatic machinery/equipment & processes.

Requirements

• Mechanical and/or Chemical aptitude
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to operate both manual and semi-automated industrial machinery
• Ability to perform tasks or operate multiple equipment/machines within any work day
• Solid computer and basic math skills

• High School Diploma/GED is required
• Associate degree in a STEM-related field is preferred
• 1-3 years experience
• Prior experience in laboratory, manufacturing, or industrial facility preferred

$21/hr
