A leading manufacturing company in Akron is seeking a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team As a Fitter Technician you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical components according to engineering specifications and blueprints You will also be required to troubleshoot and repair any mechanical issues that may arise during production
Responsibilities- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Use various tools and equipment to assemble install and align mechanical components
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical issues in a timely manner
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with various hand tools power tools and measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Starting salary of $1200 per month with opportunities for growth based on performance
