Entry-Level Fitter

We are hiring an Entry-Level Fitter to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Fitter you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical components and systems according to specifications and blueprints. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with little or no prior experience in fitting as we are willing to train the right candidate.

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials such as metal or plastic
• Cut shape and fit materials using hand tools or machines
• Weld or bolt parts together to form complete units or structures
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot issues with machinery or equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• No prior experience required but some technical training or coursework is preferred
• Basic understanding of mechanical principles and tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• A biometric passport is required for security clearance
