WIRE DRAW MACHINE OPERATOR
Up to $25.00/hour
Akron, OH
Know your way around a wire draw machine? We want you.
We're looking for an experienced Wire Draw Operator to run, set up, and monitor wire drawing equipment. If you can read a work order, set dies, and keep wire in spec, this is your kind of job.
What You'll Do:- Operate wire drawing machines to shape, reduce, or emboss wire.
- Review work orders and select the correct roller dies per specifications.
- Set, position, and secure roller dies in the machine.
- Feed wire into the machine, start operations, and monitor performance.
- Measure wire thickness using micrometers to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Prior experience with wire drawing operations.
- Ability to read specifications and work orders.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
