Print Production Manager

Experienced Digital Print Production Specialist

$18–$22 per hour, based on experience

Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

An established commercial printing company in Stow is seeking an experienced digital-print professional to take primary responsibility for daily print production and finishing.

This is a hands-on position for someone who already understands digital printing and bindery work. It may be an excellent opportunity for an experienced print specialist currently working in a retail print center or commercial print shop who wants a predictable weekday schedule and greater control over the production workflow.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital production presses and wide-format equipment
• Complete cutting, folding, binding, laminating and other finishing
• Review job tickets, specifications, quantities and deadlines
• Prepare and impose files using print-production workflow software
• Prioritize jobs and keep production moving on schedule
• Inspect completed work for color, accuracy and finishing quality
• Perform routine maintenance and basic equipment troubleshooting
• Communicate with customer-service and design staff about production requirements

Required Experience

• At least two years of hands-on digital-print-production experience
• Bindery and finishing experience
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting skills

Experience with digital production presses, Fiery Command Work Station, Adobe Creative Suite or wide-format printing is preferred. Training will be provided on our specific equipment and workflow, but previous digital-printing and bindery experience is required.
