The position is based at our Ravenna, Ohio facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career EHS professional or an experienced manufacturing employee looking to transition into an Environmental, Health & Safety role. The successful candidate will work closely with site leadership and employees to help maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll DoAssist with environmental, health, and safety programs throughout the facility.

Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and safety observations to identify opportunities for improvement.

Support compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company EHS requirements.

Coordinate and track employee, contractor, and visitor safety training.

Maintain training records and Learning Management System (LMS) data.

Participate in incident, injury, property damage, and near-miss investigations.

Track corrective and preventive actions to completion.

Support environmental compliance activities, including waste management, recycling, chemical inventory management, and regulatory recordkeeping.

Assist with emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response planning.

Maintain EHS records, reports, metrics, and compliance documentation.

Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, warehouse, logistics, and office personnel to promote a strong safety culture.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety, environmental performance, and regulatory compliance.

What You Bring

Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

One or more years of experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, warehouse, logistics, maintenance, quality, environmental, safety, or related environments; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
