Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery and technology within a fast-paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and improving our cutting-edge production equipment. This position requires a hands-on approach, a strong technical acumen, and a passion for problem-solving.
Responsibilities- Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of complex machinery including FANUC robotics, hydraulic systems, pneumatic equipment, and electrical systems.
- Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Implementing mechanical maintenance best practices to ensure the optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
- Working with a variety of plastics processing machinery including injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and thermoforming.
- Identifying and recommending improvements to enhance the efficiency and functionality of machinery and equipment.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve technical issues and implement new processes.
- Ensuring all maintenance work and repairs comply with safety regulations and company standards.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the engineering industry.
- Proven experience with FANUC robotics, hydraulic systems, pneumatic equipment, and electrical systems.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical maintenance and experience with plastics processing machinery including injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and thermoforming.
- A strong understanding of safety regulations and maintenance protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field would be an advantage.
