As the Merchandising Senior Specialist, you will be pivotal in supporting Goodyear’s global Communications Manager to deliver the Signature Merchandise and Vault programs. In this role, you help bring the brand’s heritage and innovation to life through thoughtfully curated products and collectibles. You will play a critical part in developing new capabilities and processes that strengthen Goodyear’s connection with consumers. Through close cross‑functional collaboration, you ensure each merchandise and Vault item reflects brand strategy, builds brand affinity, and delivers a premium experience across physical and digital touchpoints.
WhatYou’ll Do
Support the development of Goodyear branded and licensed merchandise by partnering with Creative, Procurement, and external vendors on design, sourcing, quality review, pricing, and production requirements.
Review and evaluate product samples to ensure high-quality standards and alignment with Goodyear’s brand strategy and merchandising guidelines.
Curate, validate, and prepare historical or rare items for the Vault program, including managing internal/external approvals, coordinating with racing teams, and producing certificates of authenticity.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to enhance the Signature Merchandise and Vault e‑commerce experience, working with IT, E‑Commerce, and agency partners.
Support digital product readiness by coordinating photography, ensuring accurate descriptions and metadata, managing approvals, and overseeing asset handoff.
Maintain accurate product information by uploading and managing listings within the Product Information Management (PIM) system.
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Merchandising, Design, Business or a related field.
3 or more years of experience in merchandising, brand management, product development or e-commerce.
Experience working with creative teams, vendors and external partners to bring products from concept to market.
Experience with PIM systems, e-commerce platforms and digital asset workflows.
Familiarity with licensing programs, collectibles or heritage-based products.
Certifications in merchandising, project management or brand management.
Strong understanding of brand management, visual identity and creative standards within a global organization.
Proven merchandising expertise.
Excellent written communication skills, with experience crafting compelling product descriptions and storytelling for digital platforms.
Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms, PIM systems and digital content workflows.
Strong vendor management skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
Collaborative, proactive and comfortable working across creative, technical and corporate stakeholders.
