• Supervises employees; provides direction, coaching, training, and performance development aligned to company goals and expectations.
• Assists Nurse Manager in maintaining operational aspects of the patient care unit in collaboration with support services.
• Prepares, manages, and adheres to the department budget to maintain expenditure controls.
• Contributes as a key member of management; understands the business, financials, industry, customers, and strategy.
• Assists Nurse Manager in supporting nursing philosophy, objectives, educational efforts, and research.
• Other duties as required.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required.
• Epic software or similar EMR system experience is required.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required;
  Master’s degree (MSN) preferred.
• Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Current Health Care Provider BLS from the American Heart Association required.
• PEARS required if assigned to general care units; PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and/or NRP for critical care units; if assigned to ED, Surgical Services, Sedation Services, Transitional Care/Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, or Transport, PALS/ACLS/TNCC/NRP required within 1 year of hire.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience preferred; 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
