Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a dedicated home health Pediatric ICU position caring for technology-dependent pediatric patients in Ohio.
Responsibilities- Dedicated home health setting caring for pediatric ICU patients
- Primary patient population includes children with tracheostomies and ventilators
- Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
- Not based in a facility; care is provided in the patient's home environment
- Experience with pediatric patients and individuals with developmental delays is preferred
- Preferred experience includes managing medically complex or technology-dependent patients
- Must be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Active Ohio or compact RN license
- CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- BSN degree is required
- Minimum of 6 months experience in home care or acute care settings
- PICU experience required
- Experience with trach and vent-dependent patients required
- Strong communication skills are required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software required
