Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients requiring medical-surgical treatment and continuous cardiac monitoring. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based nursing practices
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact license
- BLS, ACLS required
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg and/or Telemetry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical nursing care
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
