- Call: 1–2 weekday call shifts per week; 1 full weekend per 6 weeks

- Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent RNFA experience (prior to travel assignment)
- Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio (compact or permanent) — Ohio nursing jobs requirement
- Current RNFA certification (Registered Nurse First Assistant)
- Required surgical experience:
Vascular, Robotic (robotic-assisted procedures), and Neuro/Neurosurgery - One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or physician in the specialty
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation
- Ability to work at least every other holiday; flexible and reliable for on-call and weekend coverage
- Provide first assist support in a wide range of surgical procedures, including vascular, robotic, and neuro cases
- Serve as the surgical first assist during operative procedures, performing tissue handling, retraction, hemostasis, and suturing as indicated
- Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team to optimize patient safety and surgical outcomes
- Participate in pre-operative assessments, intra-operative management, and post-operative care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with hospital protocols, surgical safety checklists, and infection control standards
- Cover scheduled on-call shifts and weekend coverage as required; demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced acute care setting
