Full-Time, 36 Hours/Week Day Shift Onsite Summary

Assesses, Plans, Implements, Evaluates and Directs nursing care for individual/group of patients, with a family centered care focus. Able to work on an on-call basis as needed. Must be able to work independently and prioritize patients/staff needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assessments must be completed according to policy/procedure.
  • Assess and reassess pain and effects of pain management techniques.
  • Assess and document the current status of the patient, their nursing care needs including biophysical, psycho-social, environmental, self‑care, educational, and discharge.
  • Other duties as required.
    • Technical Expertise
  • Experience working with all levels within an organization is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required. HRIS is preferred. Benefits Carrier platforms is required.
    • Education and Experience
  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio.
  • Certification: BLS, must complete hospital requirements for PICC competency within 3 months of hire. PALS every year and sedation education must be completed within 6 months of hire and maintained.
  • Years of experience: 2 years of clinical nursing experience required, with at least 1 year of hands‑on IV insertion experience required.
  • Years of experience supervising:
    None.
