PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) - Travel Nurse opportunity in Akron, OH 44304. 13-week assignment for experienced post-anesthesia care nurses with Epic EMR experience. Join a collaborative healthcare team and provide excellent post-op care in Akron, Ohio.

• Location: Akron, OH 44304 (Travel RN opportunity; Akron healthcare)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 21, 2026 - September 19, 2026)
• Setting: PACU / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (Perioperative Nursing)
• Shift: Day Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,300 - $2,420 (Competitive travel nurse pay)
• Type: Travel/Contract Nurse (Travel RN)

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)
• Current RN license to practice in Ohio
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience required (PACU RN / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months (must be listed on resume)
• At least 1 year of recent phlebotomy experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within 6 weeks of hire if not current)
• Ability to meet physical demands (lifting, extended standing) and work in fast-paced clinical environments
• Commitment to patient dignity, diversity, and population-specific competency
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off (RTO) during assignment

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to post-anesthesia and post-operative patients
• Monitor patient recovery, assess vital signs, and promptly respond to changes in condition
• Perform phlebotomy and other required clinical procedures
• Document care accurately using Epic EMR and maintain clinical records
• Coordinate and delegate care within the PACU and collaborate with perioperative and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Provide compassionate patient- and family-centered support during recovery
