• Location: Akron, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
• Department/Unit: 8100 Family Practice Unit
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Deliver exceptional nursing care throughout the patient care journey.
• Interact directly with patients and their families to enhance their experience.
• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity and resources.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

• Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.
• Experience: New grad or less than one year of RN work experience required.
• Experience RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one-year current acute direct patient care RN experience preferred.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross required.
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred.
