Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shifts. Ensure compliance with facility standards and deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and monitor patient vital signs per physician orders.
• Recognize and respond promptly to clinical emergencies and patient deteriorations.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Adhere to all compliance, licensing, and safety regulations throughout the shift.
• Complete required assessments and participate in orientation and evaluation processes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio nursing license or active compact license issued on or after January 1, 2023.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong ECG rhythm recognition skills and proficiency in safe medication administration.
• Successful completion of orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm and safe Medicate tests, with acceptable scores.
• No license hits or unresolved drug screen issues.
