As an RN in the Neuroscience Med/Surg unit at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital, you will deliver exceptional patient care to individuals suffering from strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. • Location: Akron, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.)

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a given patient population.
• Complete ongoing assessments and recognize changes in patient condition.
• Develop and update goals, involving patients and families in care plans.
• Coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care and serve as a patient advocate.
• Administer treatments and medications, and document care provided.
• Participate in ongoing interdisciplinary evaluation of patient/family outcomes.
• Contribute to the improvement of care and participate in the quality improvement process.
• Delegate tasks/assignments and serve as a resource person.
• Pursue ongoing education and specialty certifications.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
