Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Travel RN – Operating Room (OR) in Akron, OH. 13‑week assignment beginning 06/12/2026. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days.

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑surgery care and education.
• Perform circulating OR duties such as bedside care, medication administration, communication liaison, and ensuring correct procedures are performed.
• Handle scrub OR tasks: prepare instruments, monitor equipment, and inventory surgical items.
• For RN First Assistant: deliver direct surgical care, control bleeding, and suture patients post‑surgery.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty; lift up to 20 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs as needed.

• Registered Nurse with 1–2 years of recent acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse, or as an RN first assistant.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; additional certifications may be required.
• Ability to perform the tasks outlined above.

Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Job .
