About This Role

As an RN in the Acute Care Urology, GYN/ONC & Plastics Unit at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital, you will provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about patient-centered care and enjoy working collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

• Location: Akron, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a given patient population.
• Complete ongoing assessments, recognize changes in patient condition, and respond appropriately.
• Develop and update goals, involve patients and families in developing plans of care, and coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Serve as a patient advocate.
• Provide nursing care, administer treatments and medication, and document.
• Participate in ongoing interdisciplinary evaluation of patient/family outcomes.
• Contribute to the improvement of care and participate in the quality improvement process.
• Delegate tasks/assignments and serve as a resource person.
• Pursue ongoing education and specialty certifications.

• Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required
  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
